About

AnyFinder started in 2019 as a paid iOS app written in Swift and with Google Firestore as its backend.

Development was suspended for some time in 2021 because the developer ran into health problems.

But now AnyFinder is back — completely free, as a web app that works on phones, tablets, and desktop computers.

The basic idea is the same, but the app can do much more today. You can search for places in two dimensions: pick a category and refine it with filters.

Enjoy exploring! If you want to give something back, tag places around you on OpenStreetMap.

To add or edit places, do that directly on OpenStreetMap. AnyFinder links you to the edit page from each place's details, but the change itself happens on OpenStreetMap.

For bug reports or feature requests, post them on GitHub. Issues about the content of OpenStreetMap place data are closed automatically and will not receive a response.

AnyFinder is a registered trademark in the European Union, registration number 018011691.

First pants, then shoes.
